Need a little pep in your step?  This maca smoothie helps your body adapt to stressors and enhances energy and mood.  Hello?   Who can’t use a little of that?!
Drink this smoothie for breakfast to get your day going right.

Energizing Maca Smoothie

Key Ingredients:

Maca root

This root is considered an adaptogen- which means it helps the body naturally adapt to stressors.  It is rich in antioxidants (which means it helps fight off disease and prevent damage to cells.) It also enhances energy, mood, memory,  balances estrogen levels, and boosts male fertility.  Start with 1T. In the morning, then work up to 2-3 T.

Cacao Powder

Cacao is rich in antioxidants.  It also contains nutrients that support the brain and cardiovascular health.

Energizing Maca Smoothie

Ingredients

  • 1 cup unsweetened almond milk
  • 1 cup organic full-fat coconut milk
  • 2 tsp maca powder
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 2 dates, pitted
  • 2 Tbsp raw cacao powder
  • 2 Tbsp pumpkin seeds

Instructions

  1. Mix all ingredients in a high speed blender until smooth.

This serves 2 so have one for breakfast today and save the other half for breakfast tomorrow.
