Gift Guide for Teachers

November 14, 2017

I may receive commissions from purchases made through links in this article. Full Disclosure

Step into your child’s classroom and imagine if you could handle the class for one day.  No BLEEPING way!!  Our teachers are saints and miracle-workers and we need to show them that they are appreciated.
Check out my Gift Guide for Teachers:

Gift Guide for Teachers

  1. Vintage Tradition Pretty Girly Tallow Balm.  I cannot say enough about this amazing balm.  It works like magic on dry skin, cuticles, chapped lips, really dry feet, rashes, and more.  It isn’t greasy, and it has a nice clean scent.  Teachers often have dry hands from washing them all the time.  I would wrap this up in some cute fabric and add a ribbon and a tag, and you’re all set!
  2. Himalayan Salt Lamp.  This would be a great addition to any classroom.  These lamps may improve indoor air quality, may be helpful for boosting moods, and are soothing for allergies.  Win!
  3. Letter board.  This is a fun sign that comes with a bunch of letters.  Put a heartfelt thank you note on there with the letters and give it to the teacher.
  4. Women’s Scarf.  This is a necessity here in MN, but would be a cute accessory for any winter wardrobe.
  5. Minnesota (or any state) Love necklace, by Marquess Studios (right here in Stillwater, MN if you’re local)!  Show your love for your state with this handmade necklace.  You can also personalize it with a word such as Love or Home.
  6. Peace Lily Plant.  This would be great for the classroom.  This plant is known to remove common household pollutants like benzene, formaldehyde, trichloroethylene, xylene, toluene, and ammonia from the air.  Wrap the pot in pretty paper, add a bow and a little note telling the teacher about the plant and that it purifies the air.  Did you know that the recommended number of plants to have to clean the air is 1 per 100 square feet?
  7. S’ip by S’well Insulated Water Bottles for Men and Women.  These keep your drinks cold or hot, perfect for teachers stuck in their classrooms for long periods of time.  They are also made of stainless steel and won’t leach chemicals into their water.
  8. Bath Salts.  These bath salts come together in minutes and your child can even make this gift themselves.  Among the many benefits of these bath salts is relaxation, which our teachers definitely need after a long day of teaching.
  9. EO Hand Sanitizer Spray and Andalou Naturals Body Lotion.  With all the germs that teachers are exposed to every day, they wash their hands a lot.  Many hand sanitizers contain harmful ingredients.  This one is non-toxic and still kills the germs.  Our teacher is also going to need a safe body lotion to use after all the sanitizing and washing.  This one comes in many different scents and is a great everyday lotion.

Huge shout out to all the amazing teachers out there.  Thank you for all that you do!
