I asked my husband for a little help on this one. When I showed him the final product he said, “that looks like my closet!”
Well, obviously he has good taste. Haha. And he’s hard to shop for because he just buys it if he wants it, but there are a couple of things on this list that he doesn’t have yet.
The things that he does already have on this list, he absolutely loves. So without further ado,
Here’s our Gift Guide for The Outdoorsman, or active guy in your life, husband, boyfriend……
-
Smith Lowdown XL 58mm Polarized Sunglasses. Not only do these sunglasses have polarized lenses, they are super lightweight and really comfortable.
-
Grip6 Men’s Belt. This belt has no holes, is easily adjustable, and doesn’t add any bulk. Best of all, it stays tight all day long. It’s also lightweight, made in the USA and guaranteed for life. This particular one is made of carbon fiber, so if your man travels often, this doesn’t need to be taken off thru TSA. Huge score!
-
Spyder Glissade Insulator Vest. Everyone should have a thin extra layer that can fit under a coat, or just be put on when it’s a little chilly in the office. This one looks great and also has stretch panels, hand pockets, and reflective details.
-
Yeti Tumbler with lid. You just can’t go wrong with gifting one of these. It keeps drinks hot or cold and is dishwasher-safe. Buy him one for hot drinks and one for cold drinks (no one likes their ice water to taste like coffee) and get them in different colors so he can keep them straight. It is stainless steel, doesn’t leach chemicals into your water, and has a no-sweat design so it’s not slippery.
-
Bristle Free Grill Brush. This is THE gift for the man who has a grill. This summer we had a friend go to the hospital for stomach pain and it turns out that some of the wire bristles from his grill brush came off and got in his food. He swallowed it and it punctured his intestine. OUCH! Sorry, for the gory details, but I couldn’t believe I had never heard of this. It’s way more common than you think. Google it. In the meantime, get every man you know a new grill brush that doesn’t have bristles. Ok, my PSA is done. 😉
-
Suunto Traverse Watch. My husband said I had to put this one on the list. He has had his for almost a year and still loves it. It is a great gift for the active/outdoor guy. You can use it for mountain biking, hiking, running, any outdoor activity. It has a GPS for route navigation, leaves breadcrumbs of your route, tracks speed, distance, and altitude, is water resistant, has a storm alarm, tells you the weather, is a compass, and an alarm. You get a summary after your workout with all the details and you can puts notes on there, like this is a favorite trail, etc..
-
Smartwool Socks. These socks are for everyone. They are knit in the USA. They are made out of merino wool which is a breathable fiber, wicks moisture and naturally resists odors (me too!).
-

Helly Hansen Duffle Bag. For anyone who travels, LOOK NO FURTHER. These bags are really lightweight which lets you pack more while staying under the 50# mark. This would even be a great gift for the traveling ladies in your life that have trouble staying under the limit. Know any of those? It also doubles as a backpack and is water resistant.

Bigtruck hat. My family is obsessed with these hats. They have tons of different styles, but I love an all black hat. Of course, the hat is for him, but if you happen to need to borrow it….
