Gift Guide for the Spa Lover

November 19, 2017

I may receive commissions from purchases made through links in this article. Full Disclosure

Here is my final Gift Guide for this holiday season.  Gift Guide for the Spa Lover is one of my favorites because, well, I am a spa lover.
A good massage, a steam room, a cozy robe….. They all put me right into my happy place and are one of my favorite ways of self-care.
Without further ado, here it is:

Gift Guide for the Spa Lover

  1. DIY Vanilla Brown Sugar Body Scrub and Lip Scrub.  These exfoliate and moisturize and are really easy to make yourself.
  2. Beautycounter Citrus Mimosa Body Butter.  This is a thicker, luxurious lotion.  This is my favorite for after my shower or bath when I really want to be well moisturized.
  3. Bath Salts.  These bath salts come together in just minutes and are completely customizable.  You can use essential oils that relax, energize, help you breathe, or whatever you need.  Some of the benefits of bath salts are: reduce stress, help you sleep, calm and nourish skin, eliminate toxins.  No at-home spa is complete without these.
  4. Moisturizing Bath Bombs.  These are also indulgent, good for you, and completely customizable.
  5. Easy DIY Massage Oil.  Give your spa lover the ingredients to make their own massage oil.  All that is needed is a good quality oil, such as this sweet almond oil and some essential oils.  Some good ones to try for relaxing are lavender and cedarwood.
  6. Annmarie Gianni Kaolin Micro Exfoliant.  I love this exfoliant.  It’s not too harsh or too gentle.  I use it 2-3 times a week to detoxify and re-mineralize my skin.  It feels so soft and smooth afterward.  It also makes your skin absorb more of the other products you put on, by removing dead skin.
  7. Mt. Hood Genuine Shearling Slipper.  I’m a sucker for real shearling, soooo comfortable.  These look like the perfect slipper for an at-home spa.
  8. Beautycounter Cleansing Balm.  This is my #1.  If I could only pick one beauty product, this would be it!  It’s a cleanser, eye makeup remover, moisturizer and overnight mask.  I don’t travel without it.
  9. Yerba Prima Skin Brush.  This Amazon description sums it up: The Yerba Prima Tampico Skin Brush is a wonderful, revitalizing health and beauty aid. Removing the top layer of dead skin and stimulating the circulation of blood feeding the skin are essential for maintaining youthful, glowing and supple skin. Skin Brushing has been used throughout the world for centuries, and is making its way back into popularity. Dry skin brushing is one of the best ways to cleanse the skin without removing the protective mantle of acid and oils. It gently and effectively removes the top layer of dead skin cells with its build-up of dirt and acid, and deeply cleanses the pores.
  10. DIY Massage Candle.  This makes a great gift for any spa lover because it’s handmade and it involves massage.  These DIY massage candles are easy to make, make great gifts and are really fun to use.
  11. Classic bathrobe.  Every spa lover needs a robe that feels luxurious.  This one is also Oeko-Tex Certified, which means it is tested for harmful substances and chemicals.  Fibers can be grown organically, but still processed with toxic chemicals, this one isn’t.  Give your spa lover a gift that is good for them and feels great.
That’s it.  The end.  These gift guides have been so fun to do.  Not only have I gotten most of my Christmas shopping done, I’ve also discovered some companies doing great things in the world.  I’ll support that any day.  I hope you will too.

Don’t forget to Pin this so you can come back to it later.
