I had to get some outside help for this one, as I’m the only girl in the house, and it’s been a long while since I was a tween. Ahem.
Luckily, I have several nieces with good taste and they gave me some great ideas.
Check out my gift guide for Tween Girls:
-
Beautycounter Balancing Charcoal Facial Mask. Tween girls need to start taking good care of their skin as all the hormones start to come. It’s so important to make sure their beauty products are non-toxic. Learn more in my post here. This mask removes impurities and exfoliates.
-
Inflatable air lounger. This cool lounger also works as a pool float. It’s easy to carry and inflate.
-
Butter London little gems manicure kit. Here’s a manicure kit with some fun colors that is also safe for them to use.
-
Himalayan Salt Lamp. These lamps may improve indoor air quality, may be helpful for boosting moods, and are soothing for allergies. My boys even use this as their night light.
-
Tier Drop Necklace. This necklace is handmade locally in Stillwater, MN. I love the story that comes with it: Each crystal is vintage, carrying with it a story from a home that used to envelop its beauty every day. Some of the crystals have small dings and marks–representing our own imperfections. The crystals are hand-wired with stainless steel on to a sturdy stainless steel chain, representing our strength. Together, each crystal shines with each facet reflecting light, but together, they shine even more magnificently! Cheers to mothers, grandmothers, daughters, family and dear friends! Shine on!
-
Beautycounter Perfect Pout Trio-Nudes. Perfect for the tween, because there’s just a hint of color. This limited edition set has a peppermint flavor.
-
Giving Key Necklace. You pick your inspirational word, wear it and when you find someone that needs it more than you, pass it on. I would give my tween a list of words from the website, have them pick the one that means the most to them or inspires them, then surprise them with this necklace. They also have bracelets and key chains. The Giving Keys is a social impact brand employing people transitioning out of homelessness. Love.
-
Body Butter Citrus Mimosa. This is a really rich and good-smelling lotion. Teach your daughter to care for her skin while using safe ingredients.
-
Bunie Fuzzy Slipper. These are adorable. There’s not much more to say. 😉
-
Lux Blue Marble Diffuser. This is a good-looking and practical gift. The lights in this diffuser rotate between blue, green, purple and red. Diffusers can be calming, and depending on what essential oils you use, they can be health-promoting or just make your space smell amazing.
-
Happy Wraps Herbal Neck Wrap. This wrap is filled with flax seed and herbs and can be put in the microwave or freezer. It comes with an eye pillow and sleep mask.
-
One Crazy Summer. I got a recommendation for this book from a reliable source, a tween girl. This is an award-winning novel. The other book recommendation I got was: Body and Soul: A Girl’s Guide to a Fit, Fun and Fabulous Life by Bethany Hamilton
